We began the day with breakfast at the hotel before taking a detour to Carrickfergus Castle in Belfast. After that, we drove along the coast to the Seamus Heaney center to learn about and explore his life and poetry. After another drive, we reached Derry and learned about the history before speaking to Sue Divin, who is a local young adult author. We walked on the Derry walls before going to dinner and heading up for bed.
